Effect of cooling speed on tempering brittleness of 30CrMnSiA steel type II
In this paper, different heat treatment processes of annealed 30CrMnSiA steel are carried out, and the influence of cooling rate on the tempering brittleness of 30CrMnSiA steel type II is discussed by analyzing the mechanical properties, microstructure and fracture morphology of the heat-treated sample. It is found that tempering at the same temperature, the impact toughness with fast-cooling sample after tempering is higher than the slow-cold sample, although 510℃ belongs to the tempering brittleness temperature range, the impact toughness of 30CrMnSiA steel tempered is still within the qualified range of the process and meets the standard requirements.
