The effect of ultrashort pulse laser process parameters on welding strength of high-borosilicate glass
Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and poor strength in the existing welding methods of hard and brittle materials. By using a scanning spiral welding method with a galvanometer. The effects of single pulse energy, spot overlap rate, and laser processing times on the welding quality and weld morphology of high borosilicate glass were investigated through single factor experiments. The optimal laser process parameter combination was obtained through orthogonal experiments. The experimental results show that the three important parameters affect the welding strength in the following order: spot bonding rate > processing times > single pulse energy; The optimal parameter combination is that the spot bonding rate R is 80%, the processing times S is 30 times, and the single pulse energy P is 96μJ. The research provides a new method for ultra-short pulse laser welding glass, which has important reference value and wide application prospect for the packaging of optoelectronic devices.
