CONTEMPORARY COMPOSITIONS FOR CHINESE NATIONAL STRING INSTRUMENTS: SYNTHESIS OF TRADITION AND INNOVATION
The article provides an analysis of pieces by contemporary Chinese composers for traditional instruments. The mutual in uence of Chinese folk music and European principles of form-making in works for folk instruments of the 20th century is considered.
