SELF-ACTUALISATION IN A HIGH-TECH CITY ENVIRONMENT

The interest in the theory of self-actualisation is currently associated with rethinking of accumulated experience in a post-industrial society. The article analyses approaches to understanding the phenomenon of self-actualisation in domestic and foreign psychology, characterises the high-tech environment from the perspective of the opportunities it provides for self-actualisation of an individual, and attempts to substantiate the concept of self-actualisation in a technologically saturated city environment.
