SOCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE TEACHING COMMUNITY OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES IN CHINA - A MODERN VIEW: PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS

The article is devoted to the problem of personnel policy in the system of higher pedagogical education in China. The author presents the results of the analysis of statistical studies on the teaching community, reveals general trends in improving the academic training of teachers and enhancing their livelihood, gives a general description of the Programme for the Development of the Higher Education System, focused, among other things, on training of highly qualified teachers.
