TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES OF THE RUSSIAN WORLD: ANCIENT RUSSIAN LITERATURE AND MODERNITY

This article examines the transformation of traditional patriarchal ideas about family life in modern Russian society. The author notes the continuity of traditions, due to the demands of the modern social sphere, and popularisation of heroes whose images are imprinted in the monuments of ancient Russian literature. In modern Russian society, there is an increasing interest in the traditional family model, and there is a need to create positive examples that can serve as a support for the formation of a healthy family. The article analyses the images of married couples in the monuments of ancient Russian literature in terms of the relevance of their use in the modern world in order to form a positive assessment of traditional family values among young people.
