Application of the method of vibration compression massage in aesthetic medicine

Purpose. To study the effectiveness of vibrocompression massage using the Beautylizer apparatus in patients with involutive changes in facial skin. Materials and methods. 20 patients with involutive changes in facial skin aged from 25 to 59 years (average age 46±5.7 years) were observed on an outpatient basis. The patients underwent a course of 10 vibrocompression massage procedures with a frequency of 2 times a week. The effect after treatment was assessed using the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) and studying the qualitative characteristics of the skin. Results of the study: under the influence of a course of vibrocompression massage carried out using the Beautylizer apparatus in patients with involuting changes in the facial skin, pronounced lymphatic drainage and vasocorrective effects were obtained, which was confirmed by an improvement in the quality characteristics of the skin according to the GAIS scale (in 10 % an exceptional improvement was achieved, in 40 % significant improvement, 35 % improvement, 15 % no changes), as well as the indicators «moisture» (p<0.001), «elasticity» (p<0.001) and a decrease in the indicator «severity of wrinkles» (p<0.001), which gives grounds to recommend the use of this technique for involuting changes in facial skin in patients of different ages.
