Connected and Autonomous Systems and More [From the Editor's Desk]
We are very fortunate this month, for the second month in a row, to have another IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) technical committee (TC), the Connected and Autonomous Systems Committee (TC-27), sponsor a focus issue for the magazine. These focus issues give TCs the opportunity to provide IEEE Microwave Magazine</i> readers with a current look at a particular topic area within microwave engineering, and to also showcase the work that the TC is doing both within and outside the MTT-S. This month, there are two articles sponsored by the committee <xref ref-type="list-item" rid="list-itemA1" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">[A1]</xref>, <xref ref-type="list-item" rid="list-itemA2" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">[A2]</xref>. You can read more about these two technical features in the “From the Guest Editor’s Desk” column by Alessandro Cidronali <xref ref-type="list-item" rid="list-itemA3" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">[A3]</xref>.
