UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE A QUALIDADE DE VIDA NO EXERCÍCIO DO TRABALHO POLICIAL

In this article, we sought to investigate the perception of military police officers regarding the quality of life in the professional context in which they carry out their activities and what possible impacts they may feel on their personal lives. For this, a data survey was used through a structured questionnaire applied online with military police officers from the 8th Independent Military Police Company (8th CIPM), based on the QWL analysis model of Walton’s eight dimensions (1973). Questionnaires were administered 80 police officers. As a result, based on the interviewees’ answers to the questions present in the questionnaire, it was found that the absence of a defined working day reflects on the quality of personal life, as many are unable to enjoy leisure with their family and added to this, we have the relatively stressful and high-risk environment of their functions, which directly affect the issue of quality of life when carrying out their functions.
