Pamela Serón: bridging evidence-based rehabilitation and community-driven research
Dr. Pamela Serón's journey from the southern city of Punta Arenas to becoming a distinguished researcher and professor at the University of La Frontera (UFRO) in Temuco, Chile, is a result of her dedication, resilience, and passion for science and physiotherapy. Her successful career was shaped by the values instilled by her immediate and extended family, whose support and guidance made all her efforts possible: “My father, who, although no longer with me, instilled in me discipline and hard work as keys to growth; my mother, a strong and resilient woman; and my siblings, who have always been present,” she recalls.
