Idiopathic ventricular tachycardia ablation under spinal anesthesia
Catheter ablation as a management option for ventricular tachycardia (VT) has evolved over the past decade. In patients with refractory VT storm in which immediate treatment is necessary for short-term management, epidural anesthesia has been found to be effective. However, there is no report of using epidural anesthesia during ablation. We report a case in which VT ablation was done under spinal anesthesia.
