Application of UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy for buckwheat grain grading

The use of UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy and multidimensional analysis methods for grading buckwheat grains is shown. The objects of the study were samples of buckwheat grain, differing in acid value. To identify differences among samples with different acid value, the principal component analysis was used. When analyzing the matrix of factor loadings, areas of the spectrum that correlated with changes in the acid value of buckwheat grain fat were identified.
