Methodology for Analyzing Transient Regimes of Constituent Units of Nonlinear Thermoelectric Systems

Control of the temperature regime of various objects is of high relevance in many areas, such as medicine, military equipment, aerospace industry, precision instruments, etc. Due to a number of advantages, thermoelectric systems (TES) based on Peltier modules may be preferable in some cases compared to traditional air, water or evaporative cooling systems (Vapour-compression refrigeration). However, modeling errors may cause errors in setting the temperature regime. At the same time, the problem of analyzing transient modes at various control points of a high-order TES with several nonlinear devices under various control actions has not been sufficiently studied. The article develops a method for the analytical calculation of transient modes at the outputs of the constituent parts of a high-order TES with several nonlinear elements based on the operator method and piece-wise linear approximation. An analysis of the characteristics of a specific 3rd order system with three nonlinear links under the influence of four input parameters was carried out, which confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
