To the Development of a High-Cycle Fatigue Sensors and Vision Systems

The of the work is to substantiate the development of sensors and technical vision of high-cycle fatigue of machine parts. A new optical method and the results of its use for the study of fatigue phenomena are considered. It is shown that the reason for not registering high-cycle fatigue by modern non-destructive methods is the large size of the control area of the order of 1mm-1 dm. The nucleation of a fatigue crack occurs in areas of the order of 10 microns in size. Therefore, in order to control the degradation of the material and assess the residual life of the part, it is necessary to create devices based on matrix-type sensors with sensitive cell sizes of the order of 10 microns. The substantiation for the development of these sensors of different types is given.
