Development of an Information-Control System for Precision Landing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle on Movable Platform

The article proposes the architecture of an embedded information-control system (ICS) for the precision landing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The created ICS makes it possible to ensure the landing of a UAV equipped with a standard flight controller (FC) and a necessary set of sensors. The proposed system uses computer vision technologies for precise positioning relative to the landing platform with various types of visual markers placed on it. The article discusses possible approaches to solve the problem of accurate landing of UAV and their drawbacks, describes the tasks that the developed ICS should solve, and provides a detailed description of its structure. The computer simulation confirmed the performance of the system and its efficiency.
