Dynamic Analysis of Piston Air Compressor
Compressors are one of the most common types of equipment for the production of compressed air and are used in various industries. The paper discusses issues of dynamic analysis of a piston air compressor with a crank-slider actuator. The load on the working body (piston) of such a machine depends on the discharge pressure in the air storage tank. Simulation of compressor dynamics was carried out for various modes: at discharge pressure p<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">d</inf>=3 atm and P<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">d</inf> =9 atm. Analysis of the constructed model showed that under a more loaded mode, the irregularity of rotation of the drive link exceeds the permissible value, therefore, the article calculated the moment of inertia of the flywheel to reduce the irregularity of the angular velocity of the motor shaft.
