Developing Hardware and Software Systems for Synthesis of Visual 3D-Model of External Environment
Visual environment simulators of aviation and space flight training devices synthesize a visual <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{model}$</tex> of the external environment observed through the camera with static <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{model}$</tex> of reference objects. Simulating the coupling of a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}- \mathbf{spaceship}$</tex> model with a static <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{model}$</tex> of a space station or simulating fuel top-up for <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{models}$</tex> of an aircraft, moving drogue connected to a moving hose, and a tanker aircraft have different modeling statuses for static <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{model}$</tex> during the development of flight simulators. This is accomplished by the preset activation sequence of specific <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{models}$</tex>, and this approach solves the problem of proper cover of one <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{3D}-\mathbf{model}$</tex> by another when the position of the moving observer changes. The research showed that there are several key problems in visual environment simulator development that shall be solved to form the professional components of the student's cognitive model responsible for piloting problem-solving and air navigation skills. This article considers the solutions for the problem of computer synthesis of 3D models of the external environment by inserting 3D models of moving objects into it.
