Simulation of a Heating System Cascade Proportional-Integral Controller
The article considers a model of a cascade PI (proportional-integral) controller of a building heating control system. The relevance of the research based on the results of the analysis of sources on the example of Russia is shown. The controller circuit is described, which allows for smooth control of the room temperature by controlling the supply of the heating system. A model of the controller and control system in the Logo!Soft Comfort, which takes into account the direct connection between the outdoor temperature and the temperature feedback in heated rooms. Based on the results of experiments using a simulation model, graphs for regulating the temperature of the heating system heat carrier when the external temperature changes from minus 6 °C to minus 36°C in increments of 10 degrees were obtained. Tests of the model were carried out when the indoor air temperature settings were increased and decreased. The results demonstrating the adaptability and effectiveness of the proposed regulator of the heating control system with changes in external factors and settings are obtained. The conclusion is made about the possibility of using this regulator in heating systems.
