Parametric Synthesis of an Adaptive Tracking Filter with Optimization by the Nelder-Mead Method
The paper proposes a method for parametric synthesis of the tracking filter. Its structure is determined by a quasi-optimal model of motion based on the reduction of the Lagrange problem to an isoperimetric one. The presence of the parameter makes it possible to adapt the filter to the mode of dynamic characteristics and the mode of motion of the observed object. The conducted research shows that the Nelder-Mead method is advisable to use when optimizing the parameters of the tracking filter. The initial approximation is the coefficients of the adaptive filter after it enters stationary operation. The subsequent optimization of the obtained set of parameters makes it possible to increase the accuracy of tracking the observed object. The results obtained are confirmed by numerical modeling on a variety of trajectories of various classes of aircraft.
