Assessing the Risk of an AUV Accident When the Battery is Completely Discharged
The problem of assessing the risk of an accident under conditions of complete consumption of the energy resource of an autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle before the end of the route task is considered. Possible scenarios for the development of events are described: transmission of an emergency signal, collision with ships, ice floes, getting into currents, whirlpools, garbage islands, etc. A method for assessing the risk of an accident and an algorithm for determining the probability of damage to the vehicle and assessing the damage using a Bayesian network and conditional probability tables are developed. The developed method for assessing the risk of an accident allows the vehicle to select an apparatus, a battery, wait for more favorable conditions, etc. at the early stages of forming a route task to reduce the risk of an accident in the event that the vehicle does not have a power reserve.
