Remote Virtual Laboratory for Simulation of VANET Networks
The technology of connected and autonomous transport is a topic that is currently very often discussed in the media and at the same time the subject of many research studies and publications around the world. In order to support research as well as education in this field, virtual laboratories are very helpful because they do not require complex hardware and software equipment to implement them and they also provide variety of scenarios to analyze. In this paper, we introduce a remote virtual web-based laboratory that we developed and that provides users (researchers, students) with ability to carry out various VANET-based simulations. This laboratory (Vanetlab) is equipped by an intuitive graphical interface to create simulation scenario, to run it on a server, and to list simulation results for further processing.
