The RCS of a dipole-incidence inhomogeneous plasma coated missile and sharp cone target
In this paper, the RCS of a dipole-incidence inhomogeneous plasma coated missile and sharp cone target are calculated by using Po method. The effects of dipole distance, plasma parameters and incident wave frequency on the RCS of the target are analyzed. The results show that the RCS of the target can be reduced by coating the surface of the target with inhomogeneous plasma layer. Moreover, when the dipole incidence distance is far enough, the dipole incidence on the target degrades to plane wave incidence on the target.
