Radar Doppler Signature Time-Modulated Reflective Metasurfaces for Target Recognition
With the rapid increase in the number of manned and unmanned devices, higher requirements have been put forward for long-range target recognition. In this article, a time-modulated reflective metasurfaces of modulating frequency change sequences is proposed, which has the advantage of low cost and low complexity. By controlling the switch status of the P-I-N diode to achieve different phase reflection response. Different time modulation sequences can lead to different harmonic frequency characteristics. The target covered by a time-modulated metasurface, its harmonic frequency scatters can be changed over time. The radar detector can recognize targets through different time-frequency characteristics. The proposed method provides an attractive choice for future long-range target recognition scenarios.
