A Low-Profile Metasurface Coating for Infrared-Radar Stealth Compatibility
The compatibility of infrared and radar stealth is the key to deal with multi-band detection technology. In this paper, a thin infrared-radar compatible stealth structure is constructed based on resistive frequency selective absorber (RFSA) and metal frequency selective surface (MFSS). Using the equivalent circuit model (ECM), the frequency response of the unit in radar and infrared bands is quickly analyzed. The thickness of the proposed compatible stealth structure is only 0.074 λ<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">0</inf>. The reflection coefficient of the structure in the Ku-band is less than -10 dB and the infrared emissivity is less than 0.3 in the infrared band of 8-14 μm.
