Estimation of maximum SAR value based on incident electric field
The effects of electromagnetic radiation on human health is of public concern. Specific absorption rate (SAR) is commonly used to quantify the electromagnetic radiation level when the radiation frequency ≤ 6 GHz. SAR is used to calculate the electromagnetic power absorbed per unit mass of human tissue. Both experimental measurements and numerical calculations can be used to obtain the specific absorption rate of antenna radiation in the human body. For ethical reasons, it is impractical to conduct real human experiments, and measurements are usually made by building equivalent human heads or physical models of the human body. While the equivalent physical model of the human body has been widely used in industries to assess the exposure level of wireless devices, the complicated environment where human body locate is not considered.
