A novel harmonic emission source locating algorithm based on Pearson correlation coefficient
Harmonic emission sources are a common source of interference that can damage the normal circuit boards. It will spread interference in space in the form of electromagnetic waves, affecting the normal operation of the circuit board. This paper proposes a method based on the emission results obtained by the near-field electric field probe, and the harmonic fundamental frequency is known. The Pearson correlation coefficient is used to determine the correlation of the harmonic characteristics of each point on the PCB circuit board, and the convex hull algorithm is used to finally determine the harmonic emission. This method reflects the spectrum correlation of different positions and can offset the interference of environmental noise to a certain extent. Compared with the traditional method, this method can also locate the emission area of the harmonic emission source on the PCB board, achieving better visualization and facilitating electromagnetic compatibility rectification. This method was specifically implemented on an actual measurement result and achieved good results.
