A Transparent Water-Based Radar-Infrared Bi-Stealth Metamaterial with Microwave Tunability
A transparent water-based tunable radar-infrared (IR) bi-stealth metamaterial is proposed in this paper. The IR emissivity of the proposed metamaterial in the IR band of 8-14μm is less than 0.24. The simulation results show that the microwave reflection band below -10 dB can be tuned from 3.74-6.03 GHz to 7.21-9.58 GHz by changing the thickness of the water spacer. Meanwhile, the metamaterial has good incident angle and polarization stability. In addition, The metamaterial composed of transparent materials are optically transparent.
