Radio Propagation Prediction based on Reported Data in Mobile Terminals

This article proposes a method for predicting radio propagation loss based on parameters such as longitude, latitude, and reference signal strength in mobile communication terminal reported information. Firstly, the applicability of the reported parameters data was validated through frequency sweep measurements in network coverage for typical urban scenarios with a 4G mobile communication band. Then, using a portion of extracted data as input, the parameters of the Standard Propagation Model (SPM) are adjusted through data training to achieve propagation loss prediction for multi cell scenarios in urban areas. Finally, the accuracy of the prediction results is verified through the remaining extracted data from the reported information.
