Multi-Objective Optimization Research on Electromagnetic Performance of Radomes

This paper utilizes genetic algorithms combined with entropy method and TOPSIS evaluation method to optimize the C-sandwich radome. The optimization objectives include minimizing transmission efficiency, averaging transmission efficiency, reflectivity, and aiming error. The core layer of the radome can be optimized with variable thickness in segmented sections. The optimization results indicate that the approach combining genetic algorithms with the entropy method and TOPSIS can rapidly converge to a core layer thickness scheme that meets the design criteria.

Abstract

This paper utilizes genetic algorithms combined with entropy method and TOPSIS evaluation method to optimize the C-sandwich radome. The optimization objectives include minimizing transmission efficiency, averaging transmission efficiency, reflectivity, and aiming error. The core layer of the radome can be optimized with variable thickness in segmented sections. The optimization results indicate that the approach combining genetic algorithms with the entropy method and TOPSIS can rapidly converge to a core layer thickness scheme that meets the design criteria.
