Monostatic RCS Simulation of Simple Targets in a Terahertz Compact Range
Introducing a radar cross section (RCS) measurement system based on a tri-reflector compact antenna test range (CATR) system. Using the output field of the tri-reflector CATR system as the incident wave, simulate the RCS of the dihedral reflector and sphere. The simulations are carried out at the radar frequency of 100 GHz. Comparing the simulation results with theoretical calculations and those obtained under ideal plane wave illumination. There is an acceptable agreement within the results The output field of the tri-reflector CATR system is obtained in GRASP, while the RCS of the target is obtained in FEKO.
