A Triple-Band Shared Aperture Antenna Array Based on current-Cancellation structure

A Triple-band shared aperture antenna array is proposed, composed of low-band (LB: 0.69-0.86 GHz) antenna, high-band 1 and 2(HB1 and HB2: 3.3-3.6 GHz, 4.7-5 GHz) arrays, located on both sides of LB antenna. To suppress the blockage effects of LB antenna, composite split-slot resonators are etched on the radiating arms of LB antenna, which offsets the induced current and restores the deteriorated radiation patterns. Finally, the proposed array achieves satisfactory radiation performance.

Abstract

A Triple-band shared aperture antenna array is proposed, composed of low-band (LB: 0.69-0.86 GHz) antenna, high-band 1 and 2(HB1 and HB2: 3.3-3.6 GHz, 4.7-5 GHz) arrays, located on both sides of LB antenna. To suppress the blockage effects of LB antenna, composite split-slot resonators are etched on the radiating arms of LB antenna, which offsets the induced current and restores the deteriorated radiation patterns. Finally, the proposed array achieves satisfactory radiation performance.
