Millimeter-Wave Filtering Antenna with Parasitic Strips for 5G Application Using SISL Technology
A Millimeter-Wave Filtering Antenna is proposed in this paper by using substrate integrated suspended line (SISL) technology. The proposed antenna constitutes a driven patch, a stacked patch, two parasitic strips and a coupling branch. The first radiation null is generated by the coupling branch at the lower band, and the other radiation null is caused by the introduction of two parasitic strips. Due to the introduction of stacked patch, not only new resonance point is generated, but also another radiation null is produced at the upper band edge. The above three radiation nulls achieve good filtering performance with high selectivity. The simulated results demonstrate that the passband is from 24.48 to 27.89 GHz and the peak gain reaches 7.85 dBi. In addition, the out-of-band rejection level is 15.2 dB.
