Research and design of dielectric filter antenna
With the development of fifth generation (5G) mobile technology, the requirement for RF front-end integration is increasing. In this paper, the first integrated design of dielectric filter antenna is proposed, where the center frequency of dielectric filter is at 4.88 GHz and the bandwidth ranges from 4.8 to 4.96 GHz, and the cross-coupling is added. The filter and antenna are integrated to achieve better integration and frequency selectivity, while processing is easy and can be done using a single mould. The design is done using HFSS and CST joint simulation, and the design is completed by fitting and analyzing the data. Finally, the return loss is more than 14dB, the maximum gain is 6.04dB, and the radiation efficiency of the antenna reaches 90%.
