Fast Leapfrog Transform of 2-D Split-Field FDTD Method for Analyzing Periodic Structures
This paper presents a fast leapfrog transform implementation of the 2-D split-field (SF) FDTD method for solving problems of the oblique incident plane wave on periodic structures. By using the central approximate difference method to transform the split form of the traditional SF method. This implementation allows for rapid execution of the 2-D leapfrog algorithm. Compared with the traditional SF method, the proposed method is not only easier to implement but also saves CPU time and memory. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method is more efficient.
