A Broadband Balanced-to-Single-Ended Power Divider with High Common-Mode Suppression Based on ISGW

This paper presents a high common-mode (CM) suppression power divider from balanced-to-single-ended (BTSE) based on integrated substrate gap waveguide (ISGW). The microstrip to slotline transition structure effectively suppresses CM signals in the balanced system, while the isolation port between the two single-ended output ports can effectively improve the isolation of the power divider. The slotlines on the top metal layer covered with copper can all facilitate the transmission of electromagnetic energy. them, the double-slotlines non-symmetric microstrip coupling structure introduces new transmission poles, thus expanding the working bandwidth of the power divider. The results show that within the frequency range of 24.9GHz to 36.4GHz, the relative bandwidth reaches up to 37.5%, isolation better than 13dB, and CM suppression is above 35dB.
