Antenna Teaching Method From Life to Theory Based on The Multi-Mode Concept
Antenna principle is an important and basic course for ECE student. Its theory is complex with a set of equations. The traditional teaching method often focuses on theory teaching and formula derivation, lacking intuitive and dynamic display, which makes them difficult for these students to understand the complex antenna principle. Therefore, how to stimulate interest and curiosity in learning and effectively for the students is an important exploration direction of the teaching reform of this course, while improving their autonomous ability with the method to solve practical problems. Therefore, electromagnetic simulation software HFSS is introduced into the teaching of antenna principle course based on the multi-mode. With the help of the intuitive interface and powerful functions, the theoretical concepts are displayed in the actual life, which not only enables students to deeply understand the relevant concepts, but also improves the enthusiasm for the students, so as to effectively enhance the teaching effect.
