Electromagnetic-thermal co-simulation of radome antenna systems
The thermal effects produced by antenna arrays during operation are becoming increasingly significant. In this study, the electromagnetic-thermal co-simulation method for antenna arrays and radomes is investigated based on the frequency-domain finite element electromagnetic simulation method and the time-domain finite element thermal simulation method. In the electromagnetic simulation, the finite element-boundary element method and the domain decomposition method are used, which substantially increase the solution scale of the computable problem. The electromagnetic-thermal co-simulation of 1024-elements antenna array and radome is completed at the end of the article.
