Transient Electromagnetic Forward Modeling Method of Anisotropic Formation Based on CPML Boundary Conditions
A large number of basic theoretical studies and field observations have shown that electrical anisotropy is universal in the Earth's interior. Considering the anisotropy of the medium in electrical exploration can help to establish a model that is more in line with the actual geological situation. In this paper, a 3D FDTD forward method for anisotropic transient electromagnetic based on CPML(Convolution PML) boundary conditions is provided, which can effectively absorb electromagnetic waves in the calculation area and avoid the generation of reflection fields. Therefore, the scale of the calculation area can be further reduced, the memory consumption can be reduced and the calculation efficiency can be improved.
