A Slim Biconical Antenna with Metasurface for Manned Lunar Rover

In this paper, a compact biconical antenna in the UHF band is presented. The antenna employs meta-surfaces coating and offset feed technologies to achieve omnidirectional torus coverage in the UHF band while meeting the installation requirements of manned lunar rovers. It has the advantages of high reliability, strong adaptability to space environment and light weight.
