Application of hybrid ACA-PO Method for Efficient Analysis of Antenna Array around Complex Platforms
The Adaptive Cross-Approximation (ACA) technique is employed to accelerate the conventional MoM-PO for analyzing antenna array in the vicinity of an electrically large platform. The hybrid ACA-PO method compresses the self-impedance matrix of the MoM region and the interaction matrices between the MoM and PO regions, and utilizes the decomposed low-rank matrix to efficiently perform matrix-vector multiplication (MVM). A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the efficiency and precision of the proposed hybrid method.
