A Multi-scale Domain Decomposition Strategy for the Hybrid Time Integration Scheme of DGTD Method
Accurate fast transient simulations have a considerable influence on the design of antennas and devices. In this paper, an efficient domain decomposition strategy is proposed for the hybrid time integration scheme of the discontinuous Galerkin time domain (DGTD) method. This strategy inherits the advantages of locally implicit and local time stepping methods and uses an adjustable time scale to reduce the storage and computational complexity. Numerical results show the effectiveness and confirmed that this method can be applied to the fast transient simulation of complex structures.
