A Broadband Circular Horn Antenna applied to Decoy System of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
The swift advancement in science and technology, coupled with the burgeoning demand for national defense security and economic stability, has led to a substantial increase in the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). However, the appearance of "black fly" UAV has given rise to a multitude of security challenges. To effectively manage and regulate the use of UAV, this paper outlines the design of a broadband horn antenna tailored for integration into a UAV decoy system. Simulation results demonstrate that the working frequency band of the designed antenna is in the range from 4.8 to 6.6 GHz with the relative bandwidth of 31.2%, the gain is greater than 10dBi, and the maximum gain is 12 dBi, the antenna is suitably equipped to satisfy the operational demands of a UAV decoy system, particularly at the 5.8 GHz frequency.
