A Dual-Model-Base Adaptive Sampling Method for Fast Computation of Wide Band RCS
To calculate broadband electromagnetic scattering more quickly, an adaptive sampling method based on dual models is proposed on the basis of traditional interpolation sampling algorithms. This method can independently select sampling frequency points through an adaptive scheme, thus greatly reducing the computation time. This scheme adopts the rational function model and the Lagrange polynomial model to interpolate the frequency sweep curve, and the computation time is significantly lower than that of existing adaptive sampling methods. The Moment of Method (MoM) is used to calculate the induced current at the frequency points, while the proposed dual-model adaptive sampling strategy is used to evaluate the induced current at other frequency points. The final numerical calculation results show that the adaptive algorithm can obtain high-precision broadband radar cross section (RCS) curves and significantly reduce the computation time.
