An Edge Swapping Technique with Prioritized Surface Fitting in Adaptive Finite Element Method for Electromagnetic Problems
In this paper, a surface-fitting prioritized edge-swapping technique is proposed for curved surface mesh optimization in electromagnetic finite element. The Lawson algorithm is combined with Hausdorff distance to optimize the mesh quality by performing local edge swapping while ensuring good surface fitting. The example results show that the mesh quality is high and the surface is well-fitted after optimizing the mesh with the proposed method.
