Application of The Interpolation Algorithm in Spherical Near-Field Antenna Measurements
In spherical near-field antenna measurements, the interpolation algorithm is utilized to process the measured electric field matrix to achieve two main objectives. Firstly, when the sampling interval fulfills the sampling criteria, the interpolation function is employed to enhance the accuracy of the far-field pattern, which is derived from the spherical near-field to far-field transformation algorithm. Secondly, in cases where the sampling interval fails to meet the sampling criterion, the interpolation algorithm is utilized to improve the accuracy of the far-field pattern. The application of the interpolation algorithm in spherical near-field antenna measurement has been simulated and analyzed, demonstrating that the interpolation algorithm effectively improves the accuracy of the spherical near-field to far-field transformation algorithm.
