A Wideband Frequency Selective Rasorber With Fractal Square-Loop Resonator
This paper presents a frequency selective rasorber (FSR) with a passband located between two absorbing bands. The FSR consists of a lossy layer and a bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) layer. The lossy layer is composed of a fractal square-loop resonator loaded with lumped resistors, which can generate parallel resonances. A conventional square slot configuration is adopted in the bandpass FSS layer. The simulation results show that the 3 dB transmission band extends from 5.59 GHz to 9.35 GHz, and the minimum insertion loss of 0.09 dB is achieved at 7.5 GHz. The dual-polarization FSR has the characteristics of wideband, and the reflection coefficient lower than −10 dB is 4.1 to 18.3 GHz with a 127% fractional bandwidth (FBW).
