Antenna near-field data extrapolation in source reconstruction methods using BP network
The source reconstruction method (SRM) can realize the antenna near-field to far-field transformation accurately, but it still has the problem of high computational cost of near-field data. To solve this problem this article utilizes backward propagation (BP) network to extrapolate the near-field data. When acquiring the antenna near-field data, only 50% of the near-field data is calculated, and the rest of near-field data is predicted using the BP network. Simulation results show that the error of the far-field extrapolation results obtained using the predicted near-field data is less than 2dBi, which verifies the effectiveness of this method.
