Antenna decoupling based on manipulating reflection phase
A multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna decoupling method based on controlling the reflection phase is proposed in this communication. This MIMO antenna mainly consists of a wideband stacked patch antenna array at the bottom and a meta-surface at the upper layer and there is an approximately circular metal patch array on the meta-surface. In this paper, the decoupling of MIMO antenna array is realized by changing the arrangement of the upper patches through a random algorithm based on checkerboard arrangement (CARA), and it is proved by theory and simulation.
