The Contemporary State and Tendencies of Development of International Law of Torts

The purpose of this article is to examine current state and main trends in the development of international tort law as a part of private international law. It is argued that Russian legislation on private international law generally takes into account modern trends in the development of legal regulation of torts obligations in foreign States and, to a certain extent, can serve as a starting point for the development of model legislation of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
