Research on titanium structural color development technique using ink-and-wash technique

The purpose of this study is to present new color application possibilities using an anodizing device so that titanium, which is friendly to the human body and the environment, can be widely used in the art and design fields. In this study, it was found that controlling the appropriate viscosity of the glue that bonds titanium to paper is of utmost importance in order to develop the planned color. It was found that when the viscosity of the glue is low, the adhesion is weak, making it easy for the titanium to separate from the paper, and when the viscosity is high, the color development time is longer than normal. This study is a new structural color application method that has not been seen in the titanium anodization method until now. Through this study, we were able to confirm its usability in a variety of fields as well as art and design.
